I’m thinking about installing Kali Linux on a Surface Pro 8. Are there any special considerations or potential issues I should be aware of during the installation process? How well does the hardware work with Kali?

I recently went through the process of installing Kali Linux on my Surface Pro 8, so I can share some tips. First, you'll want to make sure you've backed up all your important data. It's easy to overlook, but it's crucial because messing with partitions can lead to data loss. Next, be sure to disable Secure Boot in the UEFI settings. Kali often has issues with Secure Boot enabled, so turning it off is a must.

One more thing to consider is the Wi-Fi drivers. I had trouble getting Wi-Fi to work right away because the Surface Pro 8 uses some hardware that isn’t fully supported out of the box. I had to download the drivers separately and install them manually. If you need any more specific details, feel free to ask!
